When I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s back in 2000, the doctor started me on Mirapex. It’s a dopamine-agonist… it doesn’t actually ADD any dopamine to your brain, but it helps the brain better use the dopamine that’s in there. Good thing I had insurance, because that Mirapex was some expensive stuff!
